INTERNATIONAL networking body, BNI, is to make Colne its base in Pendle. BNI provides a supportive and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. Held weekly, the meetings last around 90 minutes with time for additional networking before and afterwards.
Although only recently formed, previously, BNI held its meetings in Brierfield. Colne BID Chairman, Stuart Wilson, has been instrumental in bringing the influential group to Colne. Riley’s Bar will be the host venue for the meetings, which are held 51 weeks of the year.
Up to 30 businesses from all across the North West will attend.

Stuart Wilson commented: “We are in such an accessible location and there is no doubt, there is a real buzz about Colne just now, with numerous, exciting new ventures opening this year.”

The BNI Group will be meeting at Riley’s every Tuesday between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. At the moment, the group consists of 10 members, though this is increasing all the time. Some of the founder members include: Key Finance, GTL People, XCLR Vehicle Management, Colne Burnley Football Club in the Community and McMahon Leggitt Accountancy.
